HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") Wedi gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:
1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 10fed Mehefi n 2026a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau rhwng 10fed Mehefin 2026 a’r 12fed Mehefin 2026.
2. Roedd y Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i Dŵr Cymru wneud gwaith mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Cedwir mynediad rhesymol i eiddo sy'n wynebu'r darnau o'r ffordd yr effeithir arnynt yn ystod y cyfnod cau.
3. Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd:
I. Cau dros dro ran o Heol Kiln, Llan-ffwyst, Sir Fynwy, ~75m o'r gyffordd â'r B4246 am ~15m.
II. Atal y system unffordd dros dro ar Heol Kiln , Llan-ffwyst, Sir Fynwy o'r gyffordd â'r B4246 i'w chyffordd â heol Llanelen.
III. Cyflwyno system ddwyffordd dros dro ar Heol Kiln, Llan-ffwyst, Sir Fynwy i ganiatáu mynediad/allanfa i breswylwyr tra bo'r ffordd ar gau.
4. Roedd llwybr dargyfeirio ar waith fel a ganlyn:- B4246, B4269, Heol Llanelen ac i'r gwrthwyneb.
5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Kiln, Llan-ffwyst, Sir Fynwy 2026.
6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
1. The Order came into operation on the 10th June 2026 and will continue to be in operation for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between the 10th June 2026 and 12th June 2026.
2. The order was necessary for Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.
3. The effect of the order was:
I. To temporarily close a section of Kiln Road, Llanfoist, Monmouthshire, ~75m from its junction with B4246 for ~15m.
II. To temporarily suspend the one-way system on Kiln Road, Llanfoist, Monmouthshire from its junction with B4246 to its junction with Llanellen Road.
III. To temporarily introduce a two-way system on Kiln Road, Llanfoist, Monmouthshire to allow resident access/egress whilst the road is closed.
4. A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:- B4246, B4269, Llanellen Road and vice versa.
5. This order may be cited as the Kiln Road, Llanfoist, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026
6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
