HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") Wedi gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1.     Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 12fed Mehefin 2026 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau ar 12fed Mehefin 2026, gan weithredu rhwng 08:00 – 17:00.  

2.     Roedd y Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i wneud gwaith yn gosod polion mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad.  Cedwir mynediad rhesymol i eiddo sy'n wynebu'r darnau o'r ffordd yr effeithir arnynt yn ystod y cyfnod cau  

3.     Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro ran o Heol y Parc, Coed Y Paen, Sir Fynwy, ~170m o’r gyffordd gyda;r R102 Heol Parc i Oak Ridge am ~85m.  

4.     Roedd llwybr dargyfeirio ar waith fel a ganlyn:- R102 Parc Road i Oak Ridge, R102 Oak Ridge i Lanbadog, R106 Nant Dowlais i Ystâd Fasnachu Woodside, R106 Gwesty Cwrt Bleddyn i Nant Dowlais, Heol y Parc ac i'r gwrthwyneb.

5.     Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro C16 Heol y Parc, Coed Y Paen, Sir Fynwy 2026.  

6.     Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(PARC ROAD, COED Y PAEN, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2026  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1.     The Order came into operation on the 12th June 2026 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 12th June 2026, operating between 08:00-17:00.  

2.     The order was necessary for poling works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3.     The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Parc Road, Coed Y Paen, Monmouthshire, ~170m from its junction with R102 Parc Road to Oak Ridge for ~85m.  

4.     A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:- R102 Parc Road to Oak Ridge, R102 Oak Ridge to Llanbadoc, R106 Dowlais Brook to Woodside Trading Estate, R106 Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel to Dowlais Brook, Parc Road, and vice versa.  

5.     This order may be cited as the Parc Road, Coed Y Paen, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026  

6.     By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
