(VARIOUS ROADS) ORDER No.1 JUNE 2026
Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days
from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles
proceeding in the lengths of:
BARMOUTH CLOSE, WILLENHALL that is situated outside property number 29.
(Friday 19 June 2026).
Reason for Order: Pole installation.
Works on behalf of: BT Openreach.
HARBOROUGH DRIVE, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with Birmingham Road
to its junction with Whetstone Lane. (Monday 15 June 2026 to Sunday 5 July 2026).
WHETSTONE LANE, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with Weston Crescent
(southern junction) to its junction with Portland Road. (Monday 15 June 2026 to Sunday 26
July 2026).
Reason for Order: Water mains scheme.
Works on behalf of: South Staffordshire Water.
LEAMORE LANE, WALSALL that is situated at its junction with Bagnall Street.
(19:00 Tuesday 16 June 2026 to 06:00 Wednesday 17 June 2026).
Reason for Order: Repair a frame and cover.
Works on behalf of: Severn Trent Water.
LEVESON STREET, WILLENHALL that is situated at its junction with Cemetery Road.
(08:00 – 16:00 Friday 19 June)
Reason for Order: Highway maintenance.
Works on behalf of: Walsall Council.
SOMERFORD PLACE, WILLENHALL that is situated from its junction with B4464 Somerford
Place to its junction with Tameside Close. (Wednesday 17 June 2026 to Friday 10 July 2026).
WEBB STREET, WILLENHALL that is situated at its junction with Aston Road. (Wednesday
17 June 2026 to Friday 10 July 2026).
Reason for Order: Gas mains renewal.
Works on behalf of: Cadent Gas.
This Order will come into operation on Monday 15 June 2026. It is anticipated that the works will be
completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of up to eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
