(CHESHIRE ARCHIVES CAR PARK VARIATION) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council proposes to make the above-named Order in exercise of its powers under Sections 32 and 35 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a one-hour maximum stay (no return within one hour), Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm. The Order will also enable the enforcement of disabled persons’ marked bays, bays designated for a specific use or class of vehicle and vehicles parking beyond bay markings.

The draft Order and the Statement of Reasons for making the Order will be available to view on the Council’s website www.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk

Any objections to the draft Order should be sent in writing, stating the grounds of the objection, to the undersigned to arrive no later than Friday 26 June 2026. Any representations received may become available for public inspection.
