TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council made the above Order on 1st June 2026.
1. The effect of the Order will be to close Argyle Road, from its junction with Brintons Road to its junction with Northbrook Road.
2. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are water valve repairs.
4. The alternative route will be via Brintons Road, St Marks Road, Northbrook Road.
5. The Order will come into force on 8th June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is currently expected that the works will take 5 days to complete.
