What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICES

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Castle Road, Doune) (Prohibition of Traffic - Except for Access) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 29-5-26.

This Order will:-
Introduce a ‘Prohibition of Traffic - Except for Access’ restriction on Castle Road, Doune to prevent indiscriminate parking along this section of Castle Road by unauthorised vehicles.

A COPY of the Order can be provided by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of this order, should write to the Court of Session within 6 weeks of 29-5-26.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (King Street, Doune) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 29-5-26.

This Order will:- Introduce ‘No Waiting between the hours of 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Saturday (inclusive)’ restrictions on King Street, Doune to prevent indiscriminate parking on the grounds of road safety.

A COPY of the Order can be provided by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of this order, should write to the Court of Session within 6 weeks of 29-5-26.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Old Mugdock Road, Strathblane) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 29-5-26.

This Order will close:- Old Mugdock Road From its junction with Milndavie Road to its junction with the C56 from 0930 hours until 1530 hours from 24-6-26 until 26-6-26 to facilitate public utility works.

Emergency Service access will be maintained.

Alternative Routes: via Milndavie Road, A81, C56 and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Gartness Road, Drymen) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 29-5-26.

This Order will close:- Gartness Road From its junction with the A811 to its junction with the C58 from 0930 hours until 1530 hours on 23-6-26 to facilitate public utility works.

Emergency Service access will be maintained.

Alternative Routes: via A811, C58 and vice versa

The COUNCIL propose to make The Stirling Council (Back Loan, Thornhill) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

This Order proposes to:- Introduce ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions on Back Loan, Thornhill to prevent indiscriminate parking in the vicinity of the junction on the grounds of road safety.

Objectors should send their reasons in writing to the Head of Service, Environment and Place by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk quoting reference TM/6 - SRO/2026(177) by 26-6-26.
