TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East) (No.10) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a southern part width of Valley Crescent at West Bergholt, Colchester in the County of Essex. This is to enable development as permitted by Colchester City Council under reference 252294.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO1262470). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at West Bergholt Community Hub, Orpen Memorial Hall, Lexden Road, West Bergholt, Essex, CO6 3BW
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 05 June 2026.
