(New Temple Gate and Temple Avenue, Halton, Leeds)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because new sewer and cable ductworks are required for on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along New Temple Gate and Temple Avenue, Halton, Leeds in the Temple Newsam Ward; between its junctions with Temple Newsam Road and Grove Road. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closures will be available for New Temple Gate via: Temple Newsam Road, Selby Road (B6159), To the Roundabout, Selby Road (B6159), Temple Gate,Templegate Green, Templegate Avenue, New Temple Gate and Temple Close; and for Temple Newsam Road via: Temple Close, New Temple Gate, Templegate Avenue, Templegate GRN,Temple Gate, Selby Road (B6159), Irwin Approach, Temple Newsam Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 8 June 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to take place from Monday 8th June

(Warren Lane, Wetherby, Leeds)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because electric ducting works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Warren Lane, Wetherby, between its junctions with Toulston Lane and Spen Common Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Toulston Lane, Aberford Road, Paradise Way and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 16th June 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for the installation of electrical apparatus, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Queen Square Court, Leeds between its junctions with Woodhouse Lane and Providence Place. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available Northbound via – Woodhouse Lane, Blackman Lane, New Woodhouse Lane, Woodhouse Lane, Clay Pit Lane; and Southbound via – Clay Pit Lane, Woodhouse Lane. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 15th June 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Tuesday 30th June 2026. The closure will be in place for 24 hrs per day. A Coultate. Order 2025 Amendment Order No.1 2026 –

Chapeltown Healthier Streets

Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority (in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) has today made the above Order. The effect of the Order, which comes into effect on 4 June 2026, is to introduce within the Chapel Allerton Ward. 1. A Prohibition of All Motor Vehicles on: a Blake Gr; from its intersection with St Martins Rd, in a SE direction for 4m; b. Mexborough Pl; from a point 15.5m SW of its junction with Mexborough Gr; in a SW direction for 2.5m; c. Reginald St; from its junction with Hall La; in a NE direction for 7.5m; d. Savile Ave; from its junction with Mexborough St, in a SW direction 5m; e. Sholebroke Ave; from its junction with Hall La, in a NE direction for 13.5m; f. St Martins Ave; from its junction with Newton Lodge Dr, in a NE direction for 19m. A copy of the Order may be obtained by e-mailing troteam@leeds.gov.uk. If you wish to object to or question the validity of the Order or any provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not be complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date upon which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
