Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the Order:

Notice is also hereby given that under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the Essex County Council proposes:

To Implement: an Upgrade of the current Pelican Crossing to a Pedex Crossing on the following length of North Station Road.

Under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 (as amended), Essex County Council proposes to establish a Zebra Crossing on Burrs Road, in the District of Tendring located as follows.

Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 08 June 2026.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cage Lane, Boxted in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Straight Road for a distance of approximately 10m in a south easterly direction. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mersea Road, Abberton in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 180m north east of its junction with Layer Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th June 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310784941 – Anglian Water Business (National)). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

3. To temporarily close that length of Nightingale Hill, Langham in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 670m south east then south west of its junction with Dedham Road for a distance of approximately 365m in a north westerly direction.

4. To temporarily close that length of Dedham Road, Langham in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 50m north west of its junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 95m in a north westerly direction.

    Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

    Effect of the order:

    To temporarily close that length of Rowherns Lane, Little Bentley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd July 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30073752723 – UK Power Networks).     To temporarily close that length of Seymour Road, Jaywick in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Somerset Way to its junction with Spenser Way a distance of approximately 245m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th June 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2404818 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

    The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

    Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

    Effect of the order:

    To temporarily close that length of Heath Road, Tendring in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 260m south east of its junction with Stones Green Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction.

    The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th June 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30026791997 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

    The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
