The Scottish Borders Council (South Street, Duns)
(Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 8 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 12 June 2026 between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 each day. The Order is required for drainage works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along South Street, Duns.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the
A6105 New Road, Newtown Street, Currie Street, Easter Street and South Street to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
