Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Little Clacton Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 435m north east, north west then north east of its junction with Legerton Drive for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th June 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PLT3163251730032025 – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on https://one.network/ The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.
An alternative route is available via Little Clacton Road, St Osyth Road, St Osyth Road West, Bovills Way, A133, St Johns Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Penfold Road, Clacton on Sea)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Penfold Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Marine Parade West to its junction with Jackson Road a distance of approximately 210m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd July 2026 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2371083A – Essex County Council).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on https://one.network/ The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Marine Parade West, Edith Road, Jackson Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Croft Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Coppins Road to its junction with Agincourt Road a distance of approximately 160m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th June 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2402090 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on https://one.network/ The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Coppins Road, Agincourt Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 28th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Peter Bruff Avenue, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Reed Close for a distance of approximately 120m in a north westerly then northerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th June 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2394814 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on https://one.network/ The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Peter Bruff Avenue, Hampstead Avenue, St Johns Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 28th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
