What is happening?

REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL
VARIOUS LOCATIONS BROTTON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND PEDESTRIANS ORDER 2026

Not less than 7 days herefrom the Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended because works are being or are proposed to be executed near the length of footway and road specified in the Schedule below.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from proceeding along the footway and road specified in the Schedule below and to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in the lengths of road specified in the aforementioned schedule. Local diversions will be in operation.

The Order will come into operation on 29.6.26 and remain in operation for a maximum period of 18 months.

SCHEDULE

Railway Terrace, Brotton. Road Closure for Railway Terrace to the junction of Wilson Street and to the junction of Broadbent Street, Brotton. Sycamore Drive, Brotton. Footpath Closure for Sycamore Drive from the junction of Grangefield to number 1-9 Sycamore Drive, Brotton

High Street, Skelton Road, Coach Road and Low Coach Road, Brotton. Rolling Road Closures from side of Royce House to junction of High Street/Skelton Road. From outside number 2, Skelton Road to the junction of High Street. From the junction of Coach Road to the junction of Laburnum Road. From outside number 25 to outside number 51, Low Coach Road.
