MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984. Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A465, neu gerllaw iddi, wrth Gyfnewidfa Rhymni, Bwrdeistref Sirol Caerffili.

Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiad dros dro yn weithredol yn ysbeidiol dros nos (20:00 – 06:00 o’r gloch) o’r dyddiad hwnnw am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf. Dangosir arwyddion i roi hysbysiad ymlaen llaw am y gwaharddiad cyn i unrhyw waith ddigwydd.

THE A465 TRUNK ROAD (WESTBOUND ENTRY SLIP ROAD AT RHYMNEY INTERCHANGE, CAERPHILLY COUNTY BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
THE WELSH MINISTERS have made an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A465 trunk road at Rhymney Interchange, Caerphilly County Borough.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit all vehicles, other than those being used by the emergency services or for the works, from proceeding on the length of the westbound entry slip road at Rhymney Interchange.
The alternative route is to join the A465 eastbound carriageway at Rhymney Interchange, proceed to Tredegar Junction, exit and return via the westbound A465.
The Order comes into force on 8 June 2026. The temporary prohibition is expected to operate intermittently overnight (20:00 – 06:00 hours) from that date for a maximum period of 18 months. Advance notice of the prohibition will be displayed before any works take place.
