TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY ORDER 2026
Not less than 7 days herefrom the Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order is necessary to ensure the safety of the public during the replacement of a safety fence
The effect of the Order is to prohibit the public from the above public footpath between Grid Reference NZ 6347 2299 and NZ 6357 2293.
The Order will come into operation on 15.6.26 and will remain in operation until such time as the works are complete or for a maximum period of 6 months, whichever is the earlier. The work is anticipated to take up to 2 months to complete
Access to the beach will be available and the alternative route is along the beach
