What is happening?
Notice of Intention to Make a Temporary Traffic Order Borough of Telford & Wrekin
The Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Oxford Street, Oakengates (REVERSAL OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 under section 14(1) and Part IV Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”). The Order is to be made in accordance with section 14(1) (b) of the Act because of a likelihood of danger to the public whilst new connection works takes place. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily reverse the provisions in [TELFORD & WREKIN COUNCIL (OXFORD STREET, OAKENGATES) (Mapped Moving Traffic Prohibitions, Restrictions and Provisions) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024] to enable vehicular traffic to travel southbound for the duration of the Order. The order will become operational on 14/6/26 and will remain in force until 14/6/26.
