ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(BELVEDERE ROAD, BRUNSHAW ROAD, HARRY POTTS WAY, HIGGIN STREET, TODMORDEN ROAD AND YORKSHIRE STREET, BURNLEY, BURNLEY BOROUGH) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and 92 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the "Lancashire County Council (Harry Potts Way, Belvedere Road, Yorkshire Street And Todmorden Road Burnley, Burnley Borough) (Prohibition Of Driving) Order 2012" in full.
2. Introduce a Prohibition of Driving on Match Days (from 2 hours before the start of the match until 1 hour after the end of the match, not to exceed 8 hours within a 24 hour period) in the following lengths of road:
a) Belvedere Road, Burnley, from its junction with Yorkshire Street/Harry Potts Way to its junction with Ormerod Road;
b) Brunshaw Road, Burnley, from its junction with Harry Potts Way to its junction with Mitella Street;
c) Harry Potts Way, Burnley, for the entire length;
d) Higgin Street, Burnley, from its junction with Harry Potts Way/Brunshaw Road to its junction with Prescott Street.
3. Introduce a Prohibition of Driving on Match Days (from 2 hours before the start of the match until 1 hour after the end of the match, not to exceed 8 hours within a 24 hour period) when determined to be required in the following lengths of road:
a) Todmorden Road, Burnley, from its junction with Yorkshire Street/Harry Potts Way to its junction with Lyndhurst Road;
b) Yorkshire Street, Burnley, from its junction with Harry Potts way to its junction with Church Street/Centenary Way.

A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Burnley Borough Council, Town Hall, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 9SA and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
