TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC 150453489 : The City of Manchester (Gladeside Road, Sharston Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Gladeside Road.
The alternative routes for traffic will be: (1) Nearbrook Road, Broadoak Road, Poundswick Lane vice versa (2) Poundswick Lane, Simonsway, Greenwood Road, Pear Tree Walk, Gladeside Road vice versa.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate carriageway patching prior to micro surface dressing.
It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 19th June 2026 to the 23rd June 2026.
The order shall come into operation on the 19th June 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
