Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Order

The Cornwall Council (Cornwall Council) (Tencreek Farm) Public Path Extinguishment Order 2026

On 12 May 2026, Cornwall Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to extinguish the entirety of Public Footpath 19 in the Parish of Menheniot commencing at its junction with a Classified Road C220 300 metres south-west of ‘Tencreek Farm’ at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SX 26357/63457 then
continuing in a north-easterly direction for 267 metres to a point where it terminates short of ‘Tencreek Farm’, Menheniot having no connection
to any other recorded highway 53 meters south-south-west of ‘Tencreek
Farm’ at OSGR SX 26554/63616.
A copy of the order and order map may
be downloaded from Cornwall Council’s website at https://www.cornwall.
gov.uk/environment/countryside/public-pathorders/confirmed-public-
path-orders/
and have also been placed and may be seen free of charge
at Liskeard Library and Information Service, Barras Street, Liskeard, PL14
6AB between the hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm on Monday to Friday and
10am to 1pm on Saturdays. Alternatively copies of the order and order
map may be obtained free of charge from proworders@cornwall.gov.uk.
The order came into force on the date on which the order was confirmed, but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that that it is not
within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the
ground that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with in
relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2
to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six months from the date of this Notice, make application to the High Court.
