What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

Notice is hereby given that on 01/06/2026, under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, Angus Council made The Angus Council (Dundee 10k Road Race - Monifieth) (Temporary Traffic Restrictions) Order 2026, which is effective between the hours of 9.15am and 10.45am on 07/06/2026, for the purpose of maintaining public safety or convenience in connection with the holding of a relevant event. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit the driving and waiting of vehicles in or on (a) South Union Street, Monifieth between its junctions with Foundry Road and Marine Drive; (b) Foundry Road, Monifieth between its junctions with South Union Street and Riverview Drive; and (c) Riverview Drive, Monifieth for its entire length. Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained. Vehicular access to Tayview Caravan Park will also be maintained. The Alternative route for vehicular traffic is via South Street and Marine Drive, Monifieth. The reverse route applies. Full details of the Order are available at www.angus.gov.uk/trafficorders.
