PROPOSED TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER CITY OF COVENTRY

(COUNDON WEDGE DRIVE)
(30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Coventry City Council (“the Council”), under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order (“the Order”) It is proposed to extend the 30mph speed limit on that part of Coundon Wedge Drive from the roundabout junction with Long Lane, Wall Hill Road and Brownshill Green Road in a south westerly direction to a point approximately 66 metres south of the roundabout junction with Sayer Drive.

The proposed speed limit change would improve safety and amenity in conjunction with the Coundon Cycle Scheme.

A copy of this Notice, the draft Order, plan and Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the Council House (reception area) Earl Street, Coventry and on the Council’s website ‘www.coventry.gov.uk/tro’. 

Any person requiring further information in connection with the proposed Order should, in the first instance, contact Dan O’Neill (Traffic Management Team) during normal office hours on telephone number 02476 972486, or via email to ‘dan.o’neill@coventry.gov.uk’  

Any objections to the making of the Order must be forwarded in writing to Mr R Parkes, Place Team, Legal Services, PO Box 7097, Council House, Coventry CV6 9SL, or via email to ‘rob.parkes@coventry.gov.uk’. 

Any objection must state the grounds on which it is made and must be forwarded by no later than by no later than 25th June 2026.

(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Coventry City Council (“the Council”), pursuant to its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order (“the Order”).

The effect of the proposed Order is to revise the parking restrictions on parts of Humber Road and Wheler Road as set out in the Schedule below

The details of the changes proposed by this Order are contained in the Statement of Reasons and plan all of which are available on the Council’s website (see link below).

A copy of this Notice, the draft Order, plan and Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the Council House (reception area) Earl Street, Coventry and on the Council’s website ‘www.coventry.gov.uk/tro’.
