Temporary Closure of Staunton Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Staunton Lane - from 211 metres south-west of the junction with Manor Road, south-westwards for a total distance of 188 metres. This Order will enable National Grid to replace a pole.
The Order becomes effective on 18th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd June 2026 and last until 24th June 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 3 days. There is no alternative route for this closure.
