Temporary Closure of Woodcombe Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Woodcombe Lane - from the junction with Higher Orchard, westwards for a total distance of 34 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works.

The Order becomes effective on 18th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd June 2026 and last until 26th June 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days. There is no alternative route for this closure.
