Temporary Closure of West Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: West Street - from the junction with Market Place to the junction with Pesters Lane. A total distance of 125 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to renew a stop tap.
The Order becomes effective on 18th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd June 2026 and last until 24th June 2026 between the hours of 07:30 - 18:30 for a total of 3 days.
