Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd cyflwyno terfynau cyflymder ar gyfer darnau o ffordd fynediad Gwaith Dur yr A4810 a bennir yn yr Atodlen i’r Hysbysiad hwn.

Y darn hwnnw o gerbytffordd tua’r gorllewin y ffordd fynediad sy’n ymestyn o bwynt 50 metr i’r gorllewin o ganol Cyffordd Comin Broad Street hyd at bwynt 920 o fetrau i’r dwyrain o ochr ddwyreiniol cylchfan yr A4810 â Monk’s Ditch Drive.

THE A4810 STEELWORKS ACCESS ROAD (QUEEN’S WAY) (LLANWERN, NEWPORT) (VARIOUS SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 202-
THE WELSH MINISTERS propose to make an order under section 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce various speed limits on the lengths of the A4810 Steelworks Access Road as specified in the Schedules to this Notice.
During a period of 21 days from 3 June 2026, a copy of the proposed Order, plans and a Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected free of charge, during normal opening hours at Newport City Council, Civic Offices, Newport, NP20 4UR, by appointment, arranged via email to cc-Traffic@newport.gov.uk or can be viewed on the Welsh Government’s website at https://gov.wales/road-orders or may be obtained free of charge from the address below quoting reference number qA2412127.
Objections, specifying the grounds on which they are made, must be sent by e-mail to TransportOrdersBranch@gov.wales or in writing to Orders Branch, Transport, Welsh Government, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ by 24 June 2026, quoting reference number qA2412127.
Should you wish to object, support or make representations, the Welsh Government may need to consult with people and organisations outside the Welsh Government. As part of the consultation process, we may pass information to them, including information you have given us and your personal data. We will, however, only disclose your personal details where it is necessary to do so to address the issues raised.
If you do not wish personal data to be forwarded to third parties, you should state this when submitting your correspondence and the Welsh Ministers will copy the representations to the appropriate third parties with the name and address removed and if there is to be a local Public Inquiry, the representations will be seen by the Inspector who may give them less weight as a result.

That length of the access road that commences from the eastern side of the A4810 roundabout with Baldwin Drive to a point 206 metres east of the centre of the signal-controlled junction with Kings Wall Drive.
SCHEDULE 2
40 MPH Speed Limit
That length of the eastbound carriageway of the access road that commences from a point 206 metres east of the centre of the signal-controlled junction with Kings Wall Drive to a point 715 metres east of the eastern side of the A4810 roundabout with Monk’s Ditch Drive.
That length of the westbound carriageway of the access road that commences from a point 920 metres east of the eastern side of the A4810 roundabout with Monk’s Ditch Drive to a point 206 metres east of the centre of the signal-controlled junction with Kings Wall Drive.
SCHEDULE 3
50 MPH Speed Limit
That length of the eastbound carriageway of the access road that commences from a point 715 metres east of the eastern side of the A4810 roundabout with Monk’s Ditch Drive to a point 50 metres west of the centre of the Broad Street Common Junction.
That length of the westbound carriageway of the access road that commences from a point 50 metres west of the centre of the Broad Street Common Junction to a point 920 metres east of the eastern side of the A4810 roundabout with Monk’s Ditch Drive.
