ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 16A
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES FOR SPECIAL EVENTS – CHARITY CYCLE EVENT WINDMILL DRIVE AND THE AVENUE
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable a Charity Cycle Event to take place, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth intends to make an Order the effect of which, between 12.01am and 10.30am on 21 June 2026, would be to:
(a) prohibit motor vehicles from entering and proceeding in those lengths of Windmill Drive between its junctions with Clapham Common South Side and the borough boundary with the London Borough of Wandsworth.
(b) prohibit vehicles from parking or waiting, including waiting for the purposes of loading and unloading, in those lengths of The Avenue between its junction with Clapham Common South Side and the borough boundary with the London Borough of Wandsworth.
2. The restrictions would only apply at such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by the placing of the appropriate traffic signs on the dates and times specified above.
