Traffic travelling south bound on the A36 Pulteney Road, will not be able to enter the one-way section of Pulteney Road (heading towards Widcombe Hill) and will need to follow the diversion via Claverton Street.
Traffic coming from Widcombe Hill/Prior Park Road will still be able to travel northeast bound along Pulteney Road towards the A36.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to carry out essential works in the carriageway from the 22nd June 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for THREE DAYS between 09:30 - 15:00hrs.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bristol Water to carry out renovation of old main for new from the 22nd June 2026 for a maximum period of 12 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
