High Street (D2536) and East Street (D2557) Bookham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 29 May 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of:- (a) High Street (D2536) Bookham as extends from the common boundary between 47 and 49 High Street to the common boundary between 24 and 22 High Street; and (b) East Street (D2557) Bookham as extends from its junction with Leatherhead Road (A246) to the southern boundary of Royston.
Alternative route – Lower Road, Eastwick Road and A246 (Leatherhead Road), or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable SES Water to facilitate a new water connection and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 June 2026 for 1 week between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

High Street (B269) Limpsfield Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 29 May 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of High Street (B269) Limpsfield as extends from the northern boundary of The Old Court House to the northern boundary of Sandstones.

On 29 May 206, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Russ Hill (D323) Charlwood as extends from the access for Russ Hill Cottages to the access for Welling Barn Farm.

This Order is required to enable UKPN to facilitate electrical work and associated works. Lower Road (D265) Great Bookham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 29 May 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Lower Road (D265) Great Bookham as extends from its junction with Middlemead Road (D2611) and its junction with Childs Hall Road (D2532).

This Order is required to enable SES Water to facilitate a new water connection and associated works. On 29 May 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Chipstead Station Parade (D1078) Chipstead as extends from its junction with Lackford Road (D1078) and its junction with Station Approach (X68734) as it heads northbound towards the station.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
This Order is required to enable SES Water to facilitate a new water connection and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 18 June 2026 for 2 weeks between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm. Broadbridge Lane (D356) Smallfield Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Broadbridge Lane (D356) Smallfield as extends from its junction with Redehall Road (C67) to the access for Dalarna.
Alternative route – Redehall Road, Weatherhill Road and Broadbridge Lane, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate a service disconnection and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 29 June 2026 for 3 days between the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. The Platt (D415) Dormansland Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of The Platt (D415) Dormansland as forms the eastern arm as The Platt extends from its junction with West Street (D415) to its junction with The Platt outside the Parish Room.

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1), 14(5) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), the effect of which will be to:- 1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Whyteleafe Hill (C227) Whyteleafe as extends from the access for “Cedar Court” to the access for “Ashdown House”; and 2. suspend any One-Way Order made or having effect as if made under Sections 82, 83 and/or 84 of the Act insofar as affects St Lukes Road (D1385) to allow it to be used both ways during the works.

This Order is required to enable Network Rail to facilitate lighting renewal and associated works. On 03 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Sheephouse Lane (D285) Wotton as extends from its junction with (A25) Guildford Road to its junction with (D285) Sheephouse Green. Alternative Route: (A25) Guildford Road, Hollow Lane, Abinger Lane, Leith Hill Road, Sheephouse Lane, Damphurst Lane, and Sheephouse Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate telecom spine cabling works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises in the works area, will be via the banksmen. Vehicular access afterhours will be via the signed diversion route. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.

Flanchford Road (C58) Reigate Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 03 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Flanchford Road (C58) Reigate as extends from its junction with (D310) Trumpets Hill Road to its junction with (C223) Clayhall Lane. Alternative Route: (1) Flanchford Road, (A25) West Street, (A25) London Road, (A25) Castlefield Road, (A25) Church Street, (A217) Bancroft Road, (A217) Bell Street, (A217) Cockshot Hill, (A217) Dovers Green Road, Prices Lane, Sandcross Lane, Sliphatch Road, and Clayhall Lane; (2) Clayhall Lane, Sliphatch Road, Sandcross Lane, Prices Lane, (A217) Dovers Green Road, (A217) Cockshot Hill, (A217) Bell Street, (A25) High Street, (A25) West Street, and Flanchford Road. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Lackford Road (D1078) Chipstead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 03 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Lackford Road (D1078) Chipstead as extends from its junction with (D1078) Chipstead Station Parade to a point in line with the common boundary between property No. 06 and property No.08 Lackford Road. Alternative Route: Station Approach, (B2032) Outwood Lane, and Lackford Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate mains gas connection works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 9am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via road plates and trench links, if required, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Salmons Lane West (C227) Caterham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 03 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Salmons Lane West (C227) Caterham as extends from its junction with (D1452) Victor Beamish Avenue to its junction with (X67646) Rosebriars. Alternative Route: Buxton Lane, Burntwood Lane, and Whyteleafe Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate sewer repair works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 12 days, between the hours of 8am and 7pm within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 15 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. It will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for emergency services, residents and businesses and all vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.

Various Roads in Tandridge Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.4) 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to facilitate telecom pole replacement works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out in 2 phases within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 29 June 2026. Phase (1) will comprise of that length of road in part (a) in the Schedule to this Notice; and Phase (2) will comprise those lengths of roads in parts (b) and (c) and (d) in the Schedule to this Notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm. (d) that length of White Hill Lane (C70) Bletchingley as extends from its junction with (C70) Place Farm Road and for a distance of 500 metres in a northerly direction along White Hill Lane. Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D2812 Chart Downs, Dorking which extends from its junction with Townpath – Chart Downs (T8057) westwards to the western property boundary of No.80. This Order is required to enable UKPN to facilitate electrical works and/or connection works, which is anticipated to be completed within 5 days, between 8am and 6pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 22 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and suspension will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles, will be maintained at all times. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained, which may be via the opposite footway.

D361 Wheelers Lane, Smallfield Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D361 Wheelers Lane, Smallfield which extends from its junction with Broadbridge Lane eastwards for a distance of 120m; and (b) suspend “Surrey County Council D361 Wheelers Lane Smallfield Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” in its entirety. This Order is required to enable BT Openreach to facilitate pole replacement works and/or cabling works, which is anticipated to be completed within 2 days, between 10am and 2.30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 18 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and suspension will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, as will access for and emergency service vehicles in an emergency situation only.
