Extension Of Hornsey North East CPZ - The Haringey (Charged-For Parking Places) - (Amendment No.15) Order 2026 - The Haringey (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.11) Order 2026 T33
Notice is hereby given that the Council of The London Borough Of Haringey on 29th May 2026 has made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the Orders would be to: -
(a) extend the boundary of Hornsey North East Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) and introduce parking controls operating between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm on Monday - Friday to now include Hawthorn Road N8, North View Road N8 and South View Road N8 and to prohibit waiting by vehicles other than in the designated parking places provided during those hours.
(b) designate resident permit holders only parking places operating at zone times in Hawthorn Road N8, North View Road N8 and South View Road N8 where vehicles displaying a valid, residents parking permit or visitors’ permit would be permitted to wait without time limit.
(c) introduce no waiting at any time (double yellow lines) on North View Road N8 outside and opposite No.163/165, on South View Road N8 adjacent to No.112 & No.107 (across garage entrances), outside No.55, No.33, No.18, No.17, outside the boundary of No.10/12, outside No.6 and on Hawthorn Road N8 outside No.19, No.16/18, No.22.
(d) relocate the 2x Disabled Parking Bays at either side of North View Road N8 closest to the junction with Nightingale Lane each by approximately 2.8 metres eastward.
(e) To make the following map-based changes to ensure accuracy of our records which will result in no physical changes on site:
1. Formalise the cycle storage hangar adjacent to No.161 Nightingale Lane on North View Road N8, adjacent to No.137 Nightingale Lane on South View Road N8 and revoke the cycle storage hangar adjacent to No.125 North View Road on South View Road N8.
2. Extend the no waiting/no loading at any time restrictions outside No.125 North View Road N8 by approximately 3 metres, adjacent to No.137 Nightingale Lane west by approximately 2.3 metres and on both sides of North View Road at its junction with Nightingale Lane by approximately 3 metres.
Residents of Hawthorn Road N8, North View Road N8 and South View Road N8 would be able to purchase parking permits and visitors parking permits, for passenger vehicles, goods carrying vehicles (the overall height of which does not exceed 2.27 metres and the overall length of which does not exceed 5.25 metres). Permits/vouchers for the controlled parking zone would only be valid in the zone for which they are issued.

Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
