What is happening?

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY

The Bromley Controlled Parking (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No.**) Order 20** - The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No.**) Order 20** (Various Roads) T819

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of The London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order would be to:

Extend the operating times of the Beckenham (BEC) Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) from Monday to Sunday 8:30am – 8:00pm to Monday to Sunday 8:30am - midnight which includes:

(a) Extending the existing times of the "No Waiting" restrictions operating Monday to Sunday between 8:30am – 8:00pm to Monday to Sunday 8:30am - midnight, as set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice.

(b) Extending the existing times of the on-street parking bays operating Monday to Sunday between 8:30am – 8:00pm to Monday to Sunday 8:30am - midnight, as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

(c) Extending the existing times of the shared-use bays; permit holders and pay by phone 2-hour maximum stay, no return within 1-hour operating Monday to Sunday between 8:30am – 8:00pm to Monday to Sunday 8:30am - midnight, as set out in Schedule 3 to this Notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.

Copies of the proposed Orders, plans and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours Monday to Friday at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to: The Assistant Director Of Traffic And Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by emailing: TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, quoting reference: -ADE(TP)/DN/SF/T819 no later than 24th June 2026.

Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

SCHEDULE 1: -

NO WAITING RESTRICTIONS

Extend existing Waiting restrictions operating Monday to Sunday between the hours of 8:30am - 8:30pm to "No Waiting" Monday to Sunday between 8:30am – midnight.

Bevington Road, Beckenham, both sides, from a point 10m south of the southern kerb line of Manor Road southwards to its extremity.

Bevington Road, Beckenham, from a point 10m north of the northern kerb line of Manor Road northwards to a point 15m south of the southern kerb line of Bromley Road.

Burnhill Road, Beckenham, the north side, from a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 1 & 2 eastwards to the south-western kerb line of Kelsey Park Road.

Burnhill Road, the south side, from the western flank wall of No. 1 eastwards to the south-western kerb line of Kelsey Park Road.

Fairfield Road, Beckenham, both sides, from the northern kerb line of Burnhill Road northwards to the party wall of Nos. 8 & 10.

Kelsey Park Road, Beckenham, the north-east side, from a point 6m north-west of the party wall of Nos. 11 & 13 south eastwards to its junction with Court Downs Road.

Kelsey Park Road, Beckenham, the south-west side, from a point 3m north-west of the party wall of Nos. 4 & 6 south eastwards to the north-western kerb line of Manor Way.

Lea Road, Beckenham, both sides, in its entirety.

Stanmore Terrace, Beckenham, the north-west side, from a point 3m north-east of the party wall of Nos. 1 & 2 south westwards to the northern kerb line of Burnhill Road.

Stanmore Terrace, Beckenham, the south-east side, from a point 6m south-west of the south-western kerb line of Kelsey Park Road south westwards to the northern kerb line of Burnhill Road.

Manor Road, Beckenham, both sides, from the eastern boundary of No. 71 High Street eastwards to a point 10m west of the western kerb line of Bevington Road.

Extend the existing times of the on-street parking bays operating Monday to Sunday between 8:30am – 8:00pm to Monday to Sunday 8:30am – midnight.

Bevington Road, Beckenham, the west side, from a point 3m north of the party wall of Nos. 2 & 4 southwards to a point 4m south of the party wall of Nos. 14 & 16.

Bevington Road, Beckenham, the east side, from a point 4m south of the northern boundary of No. 1 southwards to its extremity.

Burnhill Road, Beckenham, the north side, from the western boundary of No. 27 eastwards to a point 3 metres west of the south-western kerb line of Kelsey Park Road.

Burhill Road, Beckenham, the north side, from a point 2m west of the eastern boundary of No. 28 westwards for a distance of 41m.

Fairfield Road, Beckenham, the west side, from the party wall of Nos. 8 & 10 southwards for a distance of 15m.

Kelsey Park Road, Beckenham, the north-east side, from a point 2m north-west of the south-eastern flank wall of No. 13 north westwards for a distance of 11m.

Kelsey Park Road, Beckenham, the north-east side, from a point 2m south-east of the north-western flank wall of No.15 south eastwards for a distance of 7m.

Kelsey Park Road, Beckenham, the north-east side, from a point 1m south-east of the north-western flank wall of No.19 south eastwards to a point 9m south-east of the party wall of Nos. 27 & 29.

Kelsey Park Road, Beckenham, the north-east side, from a point 1m south-east of the south-eastern boundary of No. 29 south eastwards for a distance of 29m.

Kelsey Park Road, Beckenham, the south-west side, from a point 3m north-west of the party wall of Nos. 4 & 6 south eastwards for a distance of 10m.

Kelsey Park Road, Beckenham, the south-west side, from a point 4m south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 6 & 8 south eastwards to a point 7m south-east of the party wall of Nos. 12 & 14.

Kelsey Square, Beckenham, the west side, from a point 1.5m north of the party wall of Nos. 4 & 5 northwards for a distance of 12m.
