What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF

(BRIDLEWAY 44 (PART), BRAY) 
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any person on foot, on horseback or in a horse drawn vehicle to proceed along this part of Bridleway 44. Bray from the western junction with Langworthy Lane southward to the southern boundary of property known as “Bungalow at John Gays House”.

No alternative route available.

The purpose of the Order is to facilitate gas mains replacement works and as result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The Order will come into operation from 00:01 hours on Monday 8 of June until 23:59 hours on Sunday 28 June 2026.
