Notice of Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic

Holywell Street, Oxford

Date of Order: 8 June 2026

Coming into force: 18 June 2026

This Order is being introduced for pedestrian safety around a scaffolding erection which is anticipated to be in place until 31 October 2026. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in that part of Holywell Street between house Nos. 34–37. Exemptions are included for emergency vehicles, the Works and for access to property.

Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
