(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
On 25 May 2026 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on footway resurfacing works) on Corrie Drive, Motherwell from the junction of Sannox Drive to the junction of Pladda Street by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
Alternative routes: Vehicles on the north side of the closure wishing to reach the south side of the closure should travel via Pladda Street, Logans Road, The Loaning then Sannox Drive.
Vehicles on the south side of the closure wishing to reach the north side of the closure should travel vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure. The Order, will come into operation at 0001 hours on Monday, 8 June 2026 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Friday, 19 June 2026.
