What is happening?

Salford City Council proposes to make the CITY OF SALFORD (PARK STREET AND BURY NEW ROAD, KERSAL AND BROUGHTON PARK) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following:

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:

Park Street, (i) north-west side, from the north easterly projected kerbline of Bury New Road, for 40m in a north easterly direction, (ii) south-east side, from the north easterly projected kerbline of Bury New Road, for 37.3m in a north easterly direction.

Bury New Road, north-east side, from the south-easterly projected kerbline of Park Street, for 10m in a southeasterly direction.

A copy of the proposed Order, the Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or examined in person at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or to the City Solicitor PO Box 532, Town Hall, Manchester, M60 2LA by 29th June 2026 quoting reference L/JUH/ SCC006/01374
