(A441 Birmingham Road/B4101 Dagnell End Road, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of:

1. A441 Birmingham Road from its junction with A441 Roundabout with U22404 Weights Ln for a distance of 420 metres in a northerly direction.
2. B4101 Dagnell End Road from its junction with A441 Birmingham Rd to its junction with U32036 Dagnell End Rd Service Rd.

Reason: Carriageway reconstruction by Persimmon.

Alternative route:

Closure 1 Diversion – A441 Birmingham Rd (part), A441 Alvechurch Highway, A4023 Coventry Highway into Warwickshire, A435 Alcester Rd, A435 Hopwood Park Interchange, A435 Alcester Rd, A435 Hollywood Bypass into Birmingham, A441 Birmingham Rd, A441 Alvechurch Bypass, A441 Birmingham Rd (part) and vice versa.

Closure 2 Diversion – B4101 Dagnell End Rd (part), B4497 Icknield St, B4497 Paper Mill Dr, A4023 Coventry Highway, A441 Alvechurch Highway, A441 Birmingham Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 1 night (19:00–06:00)

Commencing: 28 June 2026

(Link Footpath F30391 Oxhall Close, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F30391 Oxhall Cl (fronting no’s 29-31) from its junction with U33115 Oxhill Cl to its junction with U33112 Langley Cl.

Reason: Installation of EV charging facility by J Geraghty Ltd on behalf of Zest Eco Ltd.

Alternative route: Link Footpath F30369 Matchborough Way (side Church Centre), Link Footpath F30368 Napton Cl (side no. 18), U33114 Napton Cl, U33112 Langley Cl and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months.

Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs)

Commencing: 29 June 2026

(C2043 Bittell Farm Road, Barnt Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2043 Bittell Farm Rd from its junction with A441 Birmingham Rd for a distance of 250 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: A441 Birmingham Rd, B4120 Redditch Rd, B4120 Bittell Rd, C2043 Bittell Farm Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 2 days

Commencing: 27 June 2026

(Link Footpath F20504 Swans Walk, Alvechurch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F20504 Swans Walk from its junction with C2161 Tanyard Ln to its junction with U23248 Swans Length.

Reason: Footway Reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: C2161 Tanyard Ln, U23247 Crown Meadow, U23248 Swans Length and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months.

Anticipated duration: 9 days (No Weekend Working)

Commencing: 8 June 2026

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

(A441 Birmingham Road, Redditch) (Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) and the Worcestershire County Council (Various Roads, Redditch) (40 mph Speed Limit) Consolidation Order 2006 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2026

Order made: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A441 Birmingham Rd from its junction with A441 Roundabout with U22404 Weights Ln to its junction with B4101 Dagnell End Rd and to temporarily suspend the Worcestershire County Council (Various Roads, Redditch) (40 mph Speed Limit) Consolidation Order 2006 relating to Item 3 of the Second Schedule to the order, for the duration of the work to facilitate the speed restriction.

Reason: Due to safety reasons during excavation of complex manhole rebuilding work by Ferns Surfacing.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 44 days (24hrs)

Continuing from: 18 May 2026

(A441 Birmingham Road, Redditch) (Temporary 30 Mph Speed Limit) and the Worcestershire County Council (Various Roads, Alvechurch) (20, 30, 40, 50 mph Speed Limit) and (Various Revocations) Order 2022 (Temporary Suspension (Part)) Order 2026

Proposed order: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A441 Birmingham Rd in both directions from its junction with A441 Weights Ln roundabout for a distance of 490 metres in a northerly direction and to temporarily (part) suspend the Worcestershire County Council (Various Roads, Alvechurch) (20, 30, 40, 50 mph Speed Limit) and (Various Revocations) Order 2022 for the duration of the works.

Reason: Junction improvement works for new development by Persimmon Homes.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 127 days (24hrs)

Commencing: 28 June 2026

(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2026 [Disabled Person’s Parking Space on Mickleton Close, Redditch]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled person’s parking space on the following length and side of road in Redditch:

Mickleton Close: from a point 40 metres north of its westerly cul de sac circle of Mickleton Close (O.S no. 9)

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
