Temporary Closure of Scotts Way
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Scotts Way - from the junction with Furringdons Cross To Scotts Way to the junction with Snails Hill. A total distance of 421 metres.
This Order will enable Kier to carry out drainage works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 17th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd June 2026 and last until 10th July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 19 days.
