(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION)
ORDER 2026 – TEMP/26/70

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate road improvements for the West Edinburgh Link project, no person shall drive or cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on any part of: (i) Sth Gyle access (northbound), in its entirety; (ii) South Gyle access (Southbound), in its entirety. The southbound bus lane on Sth Gyle access shall be suspended for the duration of this Order. The alternative route for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closures will be by way of: (i) South Gyle access (northbound) - Bankhead Dr, Broomhouse Rd (B701), Meadow Pl Rd (B701), Glasgow Rd (A8) & Sth Gyle Broadway & (ii) South Gyle access (southbound) - Sth Gyle Broadway, Glasgow Rd (A8), Meadow Pl Rd (B701), Broomhouse Rd (B701) & Bankhead Dr. Local access to be permitted for Forrester High School. The Order shall have effect from 05/06/26 to 30/06/26.
