BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE
(LINCOLN ROAD, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Lincoln Road from its junction with Mainway East for a distance of 25 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate chamber maintenance works within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 16:00 hours on 28th June 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Mainway East, Kingsway, Andover Avenue, Lincoln Road and vice versa.
