(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (Footway - East of Corbie Terrace, Selkirk) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 8 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 22 June 2026 - 24 hour closure. The Order is required to install a sewer crossing.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall walk, cycle or wheel along the footpath east of Corbie Terrace, Selkirk, near the riverside.

The alternative route will be signposted via a short, tarred footpath around the works.
