(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
(BRADFORD ROAD/COMMERCIAL STREET/HANGRAM
STREET/KING STREET/PARK ROW/PARK STREET, BRIGHOUSE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by ESH Construction intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Bradford Road/ Commercial Street/Hangram Street/King Street/Park Row/ Park Street from the junction of Bethel Street to the junction of Lawson Road for a distance of approximately 480 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained at all times. The alternative route will be signed on site. Access will be provided for businesses and residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 22nd June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 11th January 2027. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(BACK BELVOIR GARDENS, SKIRCOAT GREEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back Belvoir Gardens from No. 10 to No. 14 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. Access for residents will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 8th June 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Sapphire Utility Solutions have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Canal Road from its junction with Wakefield Road to No. 4 for a distance of approximately 67 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Copley View Road, Hollas Lane, Wakefield Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th July 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Coal Pit Lane from No. 8 to junction with New Street for a distance of approximately 158 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Coal Pit Lane, Wakefield Road, Clifton Road, Clifton Common, Towngate, Westgate and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th July 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Club Lane from its junction with Keighley Road to 38 Club Lane for a distance of approximately 290 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Cousin Lane, Moorlands Gardens, Nursery Lane, Keighley Road. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Heathmoor Park Road from No. 15 to No. 19 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Keighley Road, Field Head Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th June 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Spring Hall Gardens from side of No. 144 Spring Hall Lane to side of No. 146 Spring Hall Lane for a distance of approximately 6 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Spring Hall Gardens, Spring Hall Grove, Spring Hall Lane and vice versa. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Newlands Road, Roils Head Road, Stock Lane. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 10th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th June 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Connaught Logistic Support Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Granny Hall Lane from Blackburn Road to Lightcliffe Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Stead Avenue, Lightcliffe Road. Resident access will be maintained. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Holmes Road from Station Road to under railway bridge for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Station Road, Town Hall Street, Wharf Street, Wakefield Road, Hollas Lane, Mearclough Road, Holmes Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 22ndJune 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th June 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Paragon Traffic Management Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Lister Street from its junction with Winding Road in a south-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Moorfield Street from its junction with Haugh Shaw Road to No.7 for a distance of approximately 30 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Haugh Shaw Road, Emscote Grove, Emscote Street. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council for safety reasons intend to make an Order to introduce temporary parking restrictions in the length of New Bank from its junction with Godley Road to junction of Claremount Road/ Lister’s Road (apart from a 30m long parking bay) for a distance of approximately 190 metres. PROVIDED THAT pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 22nd June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, or 22nd December 2027. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained.
