NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS LOCATIONS, FYLDE, WEST LANCASHIRE AND ROSSENDALE) (REVOCATION 20MPH, 30MPH AND 40MPH SPEED LIMITS (26-27 NO1)) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Speed Limit Order under Sections 82(2), 83(2) and 84 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the following:
a) The "Lancashire County Council (Meadows Avenue Area Zone, Haslingden, Rossendale Borough) ( 20mph Speed Limit) Order 2007" in full;
b) "The Lancashire County Council Moss Lane (Also Known As Straight Up Lane) And Wyke Lane, North Meols, West Lancashire District-Restricted Roads Order 1997" in full.
c) Schedule 2 of the "Lancashire County Council (Various Roads In Roseacre, Treales And Wharles, Fylde Borough) (Restricted Road And 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2003";
d) The "Lancashire County Council (Various Roads, West Lancashire Borough) (Part Revocation, Restricted Road 30mph, 30mph And 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2017" insofar as it relates to;
i. Items b), c) and e), of Schedule 2;
ii. Item e) of Schedule 4.
2. Introduce a 20mph speed limit on Goodshaw Lane, Crawshawbooth, Rossendale, for the entire length.
3. Introduce a 30mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:
a) Barrow Nook Lane, Bickerstaffe, from its junction with Coach Road for a distance on 53 metres in a north westerly direction;
b) Carr Lane, Treales, Roseacre and Wharles, from its junction with Kirkham Road for a distance of 137 metres in a southerly direction;
c) Church Road, Treales, Roseacre and Wharles, from its junction with Kirkham Road for a distance of 96.5 metres in a northerly direction;
d) Lyelake Lane, Bickerstaffe, for the entire length;
e) The Orchard, Treales, Roseacre and Wharles, for the entire length;
f) Treales Road, Treales, Roseacre and Wharles, from its junction with Moss Lane West for a distance of 100 metres in a south easterly direction;
g) Wyke Lane, Banks, from its junction with Moss Lane for a distance of 180 metres in a south easterly direction.
4. Introduce a 40mph speed limit on Wiggins Lane, Holmeswood, from a point 260 metres south west of its junction with Holmeswood Road to its junction with Berry House Lane.

A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Fylde Borough Council, Town Hall, Lytham St Annes, FY8 1LW, and at the offices of West Lancashire Borough Council, PO Box 16, 52 Derby Street, Ormskirk, L39 2DF, and at the offices of Rossendale Borough Council - One Stop Shop, The Business Centre, Futures Park, Newchurch Road, Bacup, OL13 0BB, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
