Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 4th June 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MOULSOE FOOTPATH 18, NEWPORT PAGNELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2434)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians or vehicle access to the footpath below whilst development works are undertaken.
Moulsoe Footpath 18, Newport Pagnell – its entire length.
Whilst the above length of footpath is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The closure will be in effect from 12th June 2026 until 31st December 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MARKET PLACE, OLNEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2422)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council, intends to make an order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, for the purpose of facilitating the holding of a relevant event, which is being promoted by Robert Benbow, namely the 2026 ‘Motorama’, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit all vehicular access along the southern and eastern sides of Market Place, Olney. It is anticipated that the closure will be in operation on Sunday 14th June 2026 between 7.00am and 6:00pm.
Whilst this closure is in effect the alternative route for all traffic will be High Street, Holes Lane, East Street and Silver End, Olney and vice versa.
The closure will only be in effect when the appropriate signs are in place.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (COACHMAKER COURT, NEATH HILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2341)
This order is to allow Openreach to undertake ducting works in the carriageway. The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
Coachmaker Court, Neath Hill – outside number 23
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The closure will be in effect from 15th to 17th June 2026 overnight from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN PENNYLAND, TATTENHOE, WAVENDON AND WOBURN SANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2373)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road to allow Anglian Water to undertake works.
Dansteed Way, Pennyland – from Overstreet to Colesbourne Drive
Whilst the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Overstreet, Monks Way and Brickhill Street (and vice versa).
This closure will be in effect between 23rd and 25th June 2026.
Cross End, Wavendon – From Lower End Road to Outside number 2
Whilst the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be Lower End Road and Newport Road (and vice versa).
This closure will be in effect between 29th June and 3rd July 2026.
Downham Road, Woburn Sands – between numbers 20 and 24.
Whilst the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via High Street and Aspley Hill (and vice versa).
This closure will be in effect between 15th and 17th June 2026.
Hartland Avenue, Tattenhoe – From number 106 to 110
Whilst the above road closure is in effect, there will be no alternative route.
This closure will be in effect between 23rd June and 3rd July 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (HELSTON PLACE, FISHERMEAD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2388)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Openreach to lay ducts safely.
Helston Place, Fishermead – between number 7 and 15
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Fishermead Boulevard, Polruan Place and Perran Avenue (and vice versa).
This closure will be in effect between 15th and 19th June 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 2nd June 2026, made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (PARTS OF FRITHWOOD CRESCENT AND CROWBOROUGH LANE, KENTS HILL) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2424)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting or loading during the MK Wanderers Tournament.
Frithwood Crescent and Crowborough Lane, Kents Hill – From its junction with Sweetland Corner to its junction with Hartfield Close.
The closure will be in effect on 6th and 7th June 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (HIGH STREET (PART), STONY STRATFORD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2431)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicles from proceeding along that length of High Street, Stony Stratford from its junction with Church Street to its junction with Wolverton Road. The one-way traffic restriction in New Street, Stony Stratford shall be temporarily suspended to allow a two-way traffic flow whilst the High Street closures are in operation.
The Day of Dance and Street Entertainment – Saturday 6th June 2026 between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm.
The Stony Stratford Classic Car and Motorcycle Festival – Sunday 7th June 2026 between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm
The alternative routes for traffic for both events will be via Church Street, Silver Street and Horsefair Green, and vice versa.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDGRAVE DRIVE, OXLEY PARK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2369)
SJH Retail Services to undertake refurbishment at Tesco
Redgrave Drive, Oxley Park – From its junction with Hepburn Crescent for 100 metres.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Hepburn Crescent, Davis Grove and Cagney Crescent (and vice versa).
The closure will be in effect from 8th to 10th June 2026 overnight from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FOREST ROAD (PART), HANSLOPE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2386)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Openreach to undertake repair works.
Forest Road, Hanslope – From its junction with Hartwell Road for 130 metres in a north east direction.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Hartwell Road, Park Road and Wooton Road (and vice versa).
This closure will be in effect between 10th and 12th June 2026
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MASSIE CLOSE, WILLEN PARK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2351)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Openreach to lay ducts safely.
Massie Close, Willen Park – numbers 12 -19
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
This closure will be in effect between 11th and 15th June 2026
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (STATION SQUARE, CENTRAL MILTON KEYNES) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2402)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Synergy Lifting to undertake works to replace condenser units on the station roof.
Station Square, Central Milton Keynes – Its taxi drop off area
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
This closure will be in effect between 7am and 5pm on 14th June 2026
