What is happening?

Borough of Telford & Wrekin

The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Boughey Road, Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst frame and cover works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 11/6/26 between the hours of 9:30 and 14:30. The following road is affected: Boughey Road, Newport from its jcn with Highland Rd to its jcn with Ford Rd. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 11/6/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
