What is happening?

SPEED LIMITS (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011
(AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER 2026


Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council propose to make an
Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other
enabling powers
The effect of the order will be to:
(i) Delete the following item from Schedule 2.01 of the Order 30MPH
Speed Limit:-
That length of Brecks Lane at Kirk Sandall which extends from a point 154 metres
east of its junction with Connaught Drive in an easterly direction to a point 105
metres west of its junction with Armthorpe Lane
(ii) Introduce the following items in Schedule 1.01 of the Order 20 MPH
Speed Limit:-
Riverside Gardens, Auckley, The Whole Stainforth
Rushley Close, Auckley, The Whole Barrier Mews, The Whole
Bells Close, Blaxton, The Whole Fenton Close, The Whole
Stonegate Close, Blaxton, The Whole High Hazel Grove, The Whole
Alliss Road, Branton, The Whole Kingsway, The Whole
Bassey Road, Branton, The Whole Old Field Close, The Whole
Farrier Close, Doncaster, The Whole Oldfield Crescent, The Whole
Holly Field Crescent, Edenthorpe, The Whole Oldfield Lane, The Whole
Nursery Gardens, Edenthorpe, The Whole Sharleston Drive, The Whole
Wellington Drive, Finningley, The Whole Stonyford Drive, The Whole
Marina View, Thorne, The Whole Thorncliff Drive, The Whole
A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing the restricted roads and
a statement of the Councils reasons for proposing to make the Order may be
examined at the Council Office, Civic Office, Waterdale Doncaster between the
hours of 9 am and 4.30 pm or on the Doncaster Council Website via the following
