The order became operative from 8 June 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months.
The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration, between 8am and 5pm. No alternative route available: No through road.

This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon voltage cable laying works.
The order became operative from 8 June 2026 for a maximum period of six months.
The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 weeks duration.

This order was required for the following reason: in connection with duct laying works.
The order became operative from 11 June 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months.

(Footpath LWB 60 between Dragon Road and Winterbourne Hill, Winterbourne)
Public Path Extinguishment and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2026
The above order, made on 27 May 2026, under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, will extinguish that length of public footpath LWB 60 in the Parish of Winterbourne in the Unitary District of South Gloucestershire running from its junction with Dragon Road at Point A (grid reference ST 6480 8022) in a westerly direction along a surfaced path between property numbers 56 and 60 Dragon Road for a distance of 36m to Point B (grid reference ST 6477 8021) where it enters property 58 Grove View and runs in a north-westerly direction for 77 metres through the garden and then along a ledge to the rear of properties 56, 54, 52 & 50 Dragon Road to Point C (grid reference ST 6473 8027) before turning to a west-northwesterly direction running alongside Tudor Cottage for 18m to its junction with Winterbourne Hill at Point D (grid reference ST 6471 8028). To extinguish that length of public footpath LFC 31A/10 in the Parish of Frampton Cotterell in the Unitary District of South Gloucestershire from its junction with footpaths LFC/32/20, LFC/32/30 and LFC/32/50 (between The Granary boundary and the playing fields) at Point A (grid reference ST 6618 8165) running in a south-westerly direction through the gardens of The Granary and Little Frampton then along part of the access drive to the properties for a distance of 177m to its junction with footpath LFC/33/50 on the access drive at Point B (grid reference ST 6609 8150). 2. The above order, made on 27 May 2026, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert that length of public footpath LFC/32/40 in the Parish of Frampton Cotterell in the Unitary District of South Gloucestershire from its junction with footpaths LFC/33/40, LFC/33/50 and LFC/32/30 in the field (known locally as the Hillyfields) at Point X (grid reference ST 6621 8159) running in a south-easterly direction across the field for a distance of 200m to meet the unaffected part of the route approximately 20m north of its junction with bridleway LFC 34 at Point Z (grid reference ST 6628 8139).
Shown by a bold continuous line marked X - Z on the order map – to a line running from public footpath LFC/33/40 at the field boundary with Park Row at Point Y (grid reference ST 6623 8160) running in a south-southeasterly direction across the Hillyfields for a distance of 99m crossing a fenceline with an existing pedestrian gate (Point M grid reference ST 6626 8151) and continuing for a further 111m to meet the unaffected part of the route approximately 20m north of its junction with bridleway LFC 34 at Point Z (grid reference ST 6628 8139). Details of the proposed changes
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council proposes to make an order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3) and 4(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended the effect of which will be to institute a bus lane by prohibiting all vehicles, other than cycles, dial-a-ride buses, motorcycles, taxis, private hire vehicles (with roof top signs) and public service vehicles (buses) from entering, proceeding or waiting in that length of the Bradley Stoke Way, Bradley Stoke southbound carriageway that extends in a southerly direction towards Savages Wood Roundabout. Exemptions provided in the order include exemptions for any vehicle to enter proceed or wait in the bus lane for
the removal of obstruction to traffic; police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; the avoidance of an accident and access to or egress from off street loading or garaging facilities.
