What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
LINTON HEATH, MAIN STREET, SWADLINCOTE
WHEN: 22 June to 03 July 2026 (08:00 to 17:00)
WHERE: Linton Heath, Main Street, Swadlincote between Main Street and Linton Heath.
REASON: To facilitate water repairs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Linton Heath, Mount Pleasant Road, High Cross, Burton Road, Linton Road, Hillside Road, Main Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
