What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.30 (PART) REPTON

WHEN: 22 June to 13 July 2026.

WHERE: Footpath No.30 will be open for approx. 12m from The Pastures and then closed for approx. 20m.

REASON: To facilitate public safety during works to address dangerous boundary wall.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From The Pastures travel NE to High Street. Turn right down High Street and right onto Well Lane to meet the southern end of the footpath. 

Vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. 

This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
