NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of New Ground Road, Aldbury from its junction with Aldbury Restricted Byway No.062 south westwards for a distance of approximately 200m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via New Ground Road, Trooper Road, Station Road, Beggars Lane and New Ground Road. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 19 June 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS ON SEATON ROAD AND SUNNYHILL ROAD, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Seaton Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Runham Road south westwards to its junction with Lawn Lane, a distance of approximately 512m.
An alternative route will be via Runham Road, Deaconsfield Road and Lawn Lane.
2. that length of Sunnyhill Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Glenview Road north westwards to its junction with Melsted Road, a distance of approximately 314m.
An alternative route will be via Glenview Road, Lockers Park Lane and Melsted Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order will come into effect from 22 June 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS ON DUNDALE ROAD, TRING AND FOX ROAD, WIGGINTON) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:
1. that length of Dundale Road, Tring from its junction with St Peters Hill south eastwards to its junction with Friars Walk, a distance of approximately 196m.
An alternative route will be via Dundale Road, B488 Icknield Road, Christchurch Road, B4635 High Street and Frogmore Street.
2. that length of Fox Road, Wigginton from its junction with The Twist south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Vicarage Road, a distance of approximately 870m.
An alternative route will be via Fox Road, A41 Interchange Tring, A4251 Tring Road, Hemp Lane and Fox Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Trowley Hill Road, Flamstead from its junction with White Hill south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Trowley Bottom, a distance of approximately 197m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via White Hill and Trowley Bottom. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS AND FOOTPATH IN HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect which will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
a) that length of Anchor Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Beechfield Road south westwards to its junction with Halwick Close, a distance of approximately 319m.
An alternative route will be via Beechfield Road, St Johns Road and Anchor Lane.
b) that length of Northridge Way, Hemel Hempstead from a point 30 metres south east of its junction with Cangels Close south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 100m.
An alternative route will be via Northridge Way, Warners End Road, A4146 (Leighton Buzzard Road/Station Road), St Johns Road and Northridge Way.
c) that length of Cangels Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Northridge Way south westwards for a distance of approximately 10m.
An alternative route will be via Northridge Way, Fishery Road, Moorlands Road and Cangels Close.
d) that length of Fishery Road, Hemel Hempstead from a point 10 metres north west of its junction of Kingsland Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 80m.
An alternative route will be via Fishery Road, Northridge Way, St Johns Road, A4146 (Station Road/London Road) and Fishery Road.
e) that length of Kingsland Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Fishery Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 109m.
An alternative route will be via Fishery Road, Horsecroft Road, Wharf Road and Kingsland Road.
f) that length of Moorland Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Fisher Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 10m.
An alternative route will be via Fishery Road, Northridge Way, Cangels Close and Moorland Road.
2. To prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated on the north west side of Nos.1-37 River Park, Hemel Hempstead from a point in line with the western boundary of No.79 Kingsland Road north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 58m (“the Footpath”).
There is no alternative route available for pedestrians, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because gas main works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads and Footpath.
The Order will come into effect from 22 June 2026 and will be valid for a period of 6 months. The works are scheduled to take 16 weeks to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads and Footpath. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Highfield Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with B487 Queensway south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 75m (“the Road”).

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dodds Lane, Great Gaddesden from its junction with Piccotts End Road north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 545m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Piccotts End, A4147 Link Road, St Agnells Lane, Cupid Green Lane and Dodds Lane.
The Order is needed because electrical connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
