What is happening?

The North Ayrshire Council (Heatherstane Way, Irvine) (Temporary Waiting & Loading Restrictions) Order 2026

Order made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful to parked any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency vehicles and vehicles engaged on carrying out Scottish Power Works) on Heatherstane Way, Irvine at Electrical Sub Station, by reason of works proposed to be executed on or near that road.

The Order will be in operation from 8am on 8th June to 6pm on 19th June 2026 or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is earlier. (Main Street, Kilwinning) (Pedestrian Zone) Amendment Order 202-

The North Ayrshire Council propose to consider the introduction of a traffic regulation order imposing an Amendment to the existing Pedestrian Zone Order on the above section of Main Street, Kilwinning.

Full details of these proposals, which form the proposed The North Ayrshire Council (Main Street, Kilwinning) (Pedestrian Zone) Amendment) Order 202_ together with a plan and a statement of reasons for proposing to make this traffic regulation order, are available for inspection during normal office hours Monday to Friday inclusive at the:-Reception, Ground Floor, Cunninghame House, Irvine KAl2 8EE 

Any person wishing to object to these proposals should send details of the grounds for objection in writing to Neighbourhood Services (Roads), Cunninghame House, Irvine, KAl2 8EE by 3rd July 2026

West Road lower Car Park, Irvine (Temporary Car Park Closure) Order 2026 The North Ayrshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order. West Road Lower Car Park, Irvine will be closed from 23:59 hours on Friday 29th May 2026 until 23:59 hours on Friday 28th August 2026, or until such date as the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Car Park to be used as a site compound for construction works.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1959 PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF LAND AT ABBEY PARK FOOTBALL GROUND, BANKHEAD ROAD, KILWINNING AND 26 DOVECOT LANE, KILWINNING

Notice is hereby given in terms of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1959 S.27 (2A) (as amended) that the North Ayrshire Council proposes to dispose of an area of ground at Abbey Park, Bankhead Road, Kilwinning (formerly a football ground) and adjacent yard at 26 Dovecot Lane, Kilwinning, extending to 3.53 acres.

The proposal is that the land will be used for the development of a supermarket. A copy of the plan showing the land the Council proposes to dispose may be requested by telephone on 01294 310500 or by email to landandproperty@north-ayrshire.gov.uk.

Any person may object to the proposal either by email to landandproperty@north-ayrshire.gov.uk or in writing to North Ayrshire Council, Estates Services, Cunninghame House, Friars Croft, Irvine, KAl2 8EE.

Objections should be made by no later than 5pm on 17th June 2026 North Ayrshire Council and should state the grounds on which they are made.
