B9028 - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (B9028 - A948 to A981 08.06.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 08.06.26 for 9 days and prohibit any person from driving on the B9028 from the A948 to the A981.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during telecom duct works. An alternative route is available via the A981, Fordyce Terrace, New Deer, The Brae, Auchreddie Road East, A948 and vice versa.
