What is happening?
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
It is expected that the Order will come into force on 01/07/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 week to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake works to replace a manhole cover & frame. The proposed diversion route will be via: Kirkhill & Forest St.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH PEDESTRIANS
INCLUDING EQUESTRIANS & NON-MOTORISED TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
The Order will come into force on 17/06/2026 and have a maximum duration of 137 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 137 days to allow Persimmon Homes to undertake construction works on the new residential development. The proposed diversion route will be via: A512 Ashby Rd West, Footpath L12 & vice versa.

The Order will come into force on 15/06/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake replacement of a manhole frame & cover. The proposed diversion route will be via: Outwoods Rd, Sunnyhill Rd & vice versa.
